Superbly located around the historic dockside, Doc Fictoria is just a stone’s throw from the old walled town of Caernarfon – with its magnificent castle and all the other attractions which make it one of the UK’s most celebrated World Heritage Centres.
Along with stunning new homes, there are bustling bars and bistros, fashionable cafés and restaurants, an award winning arts centre, a maritime museum and an attractive range of shops and stores. With the sea to one side, and the beauty of Snowdonia as a breathtaking backdrop, Caernarfon has plentiful parks and offers a broad range of sporting and cultural amenities – along with a wide range of schools, colleges, doctors and all the other essentials. There are good road links and bus routes locally, with a main train station nearby at Bangor and fast connections to Anglesey, the rest of North Wales and the North West of England.
Doc Fictoria is set on a Blue Flag marina and near the site of a Blue Flag beach, Dinas Dinlle, where Caernarfon Bay opens out before you with the north coast of Llyn to the left and the west coast of Anglesey and Holyhead Mountain to the right.
The Blue Flag works towards sustainable development at beaches/marinas through strict criteria dealing with water quality, environmental education and information, environmental management, and safety and other services.
